Trauma at BRANIA FEST 4|2010-08-25

Trauma will play Oct. 30 as headliner for the 4th edition of the festival BRANIA FEST. The event takes place every year in Wodzisław Śląski in the club, "Art Cafe". We will keep you informed about the details through our website and MySpace.

Trauma would not appear on upcoming August festiwals !|2010-08-14

Unfortunately we have to deny information circulating on the Internet about our performance at the two August festivals, Generation 2010 in Koszalin and Metal Time in Nowy Staw. In fact, we received proposals for play on these events, however, for personal reasons we had to pass up. We are sorry for your confusion and hope that we will make up for our absence at the next editions of these festivals.

Darkside festival shifted !|2010-08-10

Darkside fest which ment to take place on 27.08.2010 is being shifted. New term is not known yet. We`ll inform you as soon as we gather more details about this event.

At 14.08.2010 in Elbląg Trauma will apear on III edition of Elbląg Rocks Europa festiwal on Courtyard of Museum of Archaeology and History in Elbląg. In addition Mister will lead guitar worshop on 12.08.2010.

Archetype Of Chaos on vinyl|2010-06-29

Withing Hour production had relesed Trauma latest album, "Archetype of Chaos" in the vinyl version.
Gatefold fold-out with graphics and new artwork prepared for this unique release. Technique used in the production of 12 inch vinyl makes each disc is different throughout the structure as well as different shades. The whole limited and numbered to 500 copies unique. Anything like that haven`t been before!

We would like to correct a mistake that appeared on the latest news about " Killing Assault Tour Part 2".On poster there is an information about ticket price that is 20 zl each on every gig exept "Garocin" which is totally free during the two days of festival. We play as a co-headliner with Kat.

"KILLING ASSAULT" MINI TOUR VOL. 2|2010-06-11

As we promised after "Archetype of Chaos" premiere we strengthen our battle array so you could see more Trauma live performance. We keep faith with our fans and prepare a suprise. Last year we decided to organise on our own a tour named "Killing Assault". We agreed to continue it also in this year so we
created "vol. 2". Tour is bassically created to promote less-known polish bands who in our opinion represent highest quality on scene. In few-day tour we`re going to visit five cities: Olsztyn, Chojnice, Słupsk, Poznań i Kutno. In this year we`ve taken a very strong crew on "Killing Assault 2010", some of gigs we`ll play with Tehace, Calm Hathery, Pleroms Gate and Fulcrum. Also Thempest, Anthem, Mass Insanity, Black Pocket Lice and Nameless. As you can see its a windfall for metalheads. We would like to thank ANTI-VIOLENT AGENCY for taking care of gigs in Poznań and Kutno.

TRAUMA KEEPS STRIKING!|2010-05-12

After great reviews of „Archetype Of Chaos” in european press TRAUMA goes on! After successful gigs in Gliwice, Rzeszow, Warsaw and Słupsk band keeps strikin`. In Tuesday 13.05 TRAUMA will apear on prestigious event METALFEST in Germany and on 16.05 in Gdańsk during the tenth anniversary of our fellow band TEHACE. Next concerts in May are 22.05 and 29.05 at CREATION OF CHAOS in Białystok and Chodzież. There is also a tour planned in June, but more details will be reveled soon !

CONCERTS IN MARCH!|2010-03-20

On Tuesday (2010/25/03) we will be performing live show in Rzeszow city ('Od zmierzch do switu' club). We will be playing in company of BANISHER, CARRION CROWN and COHORS PRAETORIA. We would like to point out, that on March 27st we will be supporting death metal legend from the Netherlands- ASPHYX, who visits Poland due to play this one and only show. Concert will take place in Warsaw, in 'Progresja' club. See you on battlefield!

TRAUMA ON METAL FEST IN GERMANY!|2010-03-15

We are proud to announce, that we have been invited to appear on one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe. Metal Fest Open Air Festival, which we are talking about, this year will take place in five countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic. Trauma will perform on german edition, which will go on 13-15.05 in Dessau. We will part scene with TESTAMENT, NEVERMORE, BOLT THROWER, DEICIDE, SEPULTURA, MARDUK, SIX FEET UNDER. Except TRAUMA, there are three more bands in our Polish crew: BEHEMOTH, VADER and DECAPITATED.

Long running Polish death metal combo Trauma have made new song “Cortex Deformation” available for streaming at their Myspace site (www.myspace.com/traumaprofile). This song come from new album „Archetype Of Chaos” which will be released in March 2010 via Witching Hour Productions/Plastic Head. This is the first new stuff from Trauma since “Neurotic Mass” that hit the stores in 2007.

TRAUMA SIGNS WITH WITCHING HOUR! NEW ALBUM OUT IN FEBRUARY!|2010-01-01

After long time of awaiting new Trauma album, we have now more precise info to share with you – sixth studio album of the band entitled „Archetype Of Chaos” will be released in February 2010 via Witching Hour Productions.

Trauma finished recordings of its new masterpiece in November, meanwhile negotiating the contract with several labels. Finally in December, Trauma inked a deal with Witching Hour for the release of „Archetype Of Chaos” worldwide.

Band leader, Mister commented freshly singed contract:

„We were looking very carefully for new business partner, cause we wanted to be sure that we chose the best possible option. We received several offers from European labels but we finally decided to pick Polish label. We were aware of Witching Hour actions and development and we are absolutely sure that our cooperation will be perfect and will bring measureable effects in long term”.

NEWS ABOUT UPCOMING ALBUM 'ARCHETYPE OF CHAOS'|2009-11-10

We are honoured to announce you that work over our newest, 6th album titled 'Archetype Of Chaos' is finally complete. We are after the phase of recording samples, mix and mastering is already finished. To make the recording complete, we have decided to invited some guests to appear on the album.

The author that made a piece of samples on CD is Piotr Kopeć- keyboardist of Atrophia Red Sun.
We also invited Konrad Rossa (guitarist for Sothoth and Redemptor) to play solo part on track 'Cortex Deformation'.

TRAUMA PROUDLY PRESENTS ITS NEW LINE-UP|2009-10-25

After long years of absence on metal scene, Artur 'Chudy' Chudewniak joins Trauma again, substituting for Robert 'Kopeć' Jarymowicz as a vocalist and frontman of the band. You have known 'Chudy' from numerous concerts as soon as previous releases of Trauma- 'Imperfect Like A God' CD, 'DetermiNation' CD and MCD 'Hamartia'. We have been always in good relations with 'Chudy', so our choice was obvious for us and was not made by accident. The first opportunity you will have to see Trauma with 'Chudy' will be upcoming show in Wroclaw city.

After playing plenty of successful gigs and festivals we have made a decision to engage David 'Davidian' Rutkowski as full time bass player. From now, David officially replaces our previous bassist- Paweł 'Firana' Krajnik.

CONCERT IN WROCLAW- DETAILS|2009-10-10

We already know all the details reffered to upcoming gig in Wroclaw city. Event will take place in Madness club, November the 21st. Concert will start at 18:30, cost: 15pln. UPCOMING CONCERTS- FALL 2009|2009-09-25

We would like to let you know that we met with huge interest in our shows from numerous polish concerts clubs, what will finally result in concrete concert plans in the end of the year. Actually we are on phase of negotiating dates and places in which we will perform. By now we can announce that our nearest show will take place in Wroclaw city (Madness Club). All we can say about this event is that we know the concert will take place in November. Further details are being currently settled with the organisers. VOCALIST ROBERT JARYMOWICZ PARTED WAYS WITH TRAUMA|2009-09-15

‘Life is brutal’ we would like to say. After three years of cooperating with the band, playing numerous concerts and recording two albums together, our vocalist Robert Jarymowicz stays in Trauma no longer. The reason is always the same. Causes of present situation are life’s circumstances and personal problems that stayed in opposition to our plans for the nearest future. We all would like to thank Robert very much for his involvement and impressive devotion. We apprise that you will have an opportunity to hear Robert’s last word on our upcoming album- ‘Archetype Of Chaos’.

NEW WEBSITE IS BEING PREPARED!|2009-08-20

We have had problems with our website for a long time. In previous year our new website appeared, which, according to our assumptions, should have been fully professional, functional, and, most of all- varied. Unfortunately- because of many circumstances, we have failed. This situation is inconvenient to us, that is why we have decided to order a new one. By now the work is close to finish, and it will not take a lot of time to complete the task and to let you know what is happening to the band. Website was made by Michal ‘Xaay’ Loranc, graphic designer engaged in cooperation with Trauma.

RECENT FESTIVALS - SUMMARY|2009-08-05

Festivals on which we appeared last months were our first concerts in eastern part of Europe. We would like to point here, that we truly appreciate work of organisators of Devil Stone Open Air. Thank you for great organization of whole event and all-out professionalism. We are honored to have had such an opportunity to play in Lithuania.

Organisation of Ukrainian Metal Head’s Mission was far imperfect in our opinion, but welcome of Ukrainian fans, absolutely stunning atmosphere of event and eventually phenomenal concert of Trauma made this trip worth itself and resulted in giving you one of our greatest shows for the previous years.

Due to fact that our vocalist- Robert Jarymowicz was indisposed in time of festivals, he was replaced by our friend Jacek Brzozowski from polish death metal band Sothoth. In this place we would like to thank him very much for time that he had to spend for preparing the material and for his support on both festivals.

TRAUMA APPEARS ON SUMMER FESTIVALS!|2009-07-08

This month Trauma will perform on two international festivals. First of them, DEVIL STONE OPEN AIR FESTIVAL, will take place in Lithuania, between 17^th and 18^th July, in town called Anyksciai, one of the most impressive corners of the Baltics. That is following edition of this festival, which become more and more prestigious from year to year, attracting thousands of fans of extreme music. The headliners of this edition of DEVIL STONE OPER AIR are Brasilian SEPULTURA, Norwegian KEEP OF KALESSIN, Dutch SINISTER and British formation- THE CODE.

Two weeks after DEVIL STONE OPEN AIR, on 31th July, we are performing on huge, Ukrainian festival- METAL HEAD’S MISSION OPEN AIR FESTIVAL, which will take place in beautiful town Morskoe, situated near the Black Sea, on Crimae. Headliners of this fest are Canadians from CRYPTOPSY, Italians from SADIST and Swedish death metal legend- GRAVE.

NEW ALBUM ARTWORK|2009-06-15

This time, as far as our concept for ‘Archetype Of Chaos’ album is finally set up, we have made up a decision to cooperate with Polish graphic designer, Michał Loranc, widely known as ‘Xaay’. You probably know him from collaboration with bands such as Nile, Behemoth, Armagedon etc. Xaay undertook doing cover and layout for our newest album. We had a lot of ideas about the cover and finally passed it on to Xaay, who made the work complete. Album cover is strongly inspired by ideas of Alhazred - a poet and author of lyrics on ‘Archetype…’.

MIX OF OUR NEWEST MATERIAL FINISHED!|2009-05-31

After exhausting recording session of “Archetype Of Chaos’ CD and few weeks of rest, for two previous months we have been returning to Hertz Studio more than once, to finish the work over the new CD. At the first phase, we have menaged to elaborate overall sound of the album. On stage 2^nd, we have made great effort to finish every detail of new production. We have never been working over the mix for so long time. We needed a lot of time to look at our work objectively, so that the final affect is absolutely stunning. Due to fact that either the songs and arrangements are more sophisticated that ever before, we wanted it to sound in the most adequate way, different than other albums did. On the one hand, we focused on selection of new production, on the other hand- we wanted to make it sound epic and heavy. That was tough compromise, and there are no words to tell how glad we are that we have finally succeed. We have no doubts that this is the best album we have ever recorded, including the sound and musicmanship. We are looking forward to share it with you.

"Killing Assault Tour" Finished!|2009-04-12

With last concert in our home city- Elblag (April 10^th 2009), we have finished our summer tour. Here we would like to thank all bands which participated in this undertaking, in all of the cities we have visited on the tour. Most of all, we wanted to thank our fans for absolutely astonishing atmosphere and endless support. We are aware of fact, that dates of our shows could interfere with Easter (my god!), but except Bydgoszcz city, frequency on tour was more than satisfying
